Minimum system requirements for POS Software

The system requirements are determined by a many factors such as, the size of the restaurant, the volume of transactions, Numbers of terminals to use software, etc.
Please find the following guideline table with the different criteria used.

Normal Setup with Stand Alone Machine

Hardware Core2Duo (or equivalent) of more than or equal to 2.66 GHz with 4 GB RAM
Operating System Windows XP or Vista or Windows 7 or Windows 8

Normal Setup with 2-3 Computers

Server Core2Duo (or equivalent) of more than or equal to 2.66 GHz with 4 GB RAM
Client Core2Duo of more than or equal to 2.66 GHz with 2 GB RAM
Operating System Windows XP or Vista or Windows 7 or Windows 8

Normal Setup with 2-5 Computers

Server Quad Processor (or equivalent) of more than or equal to 2.66 GHz with 6 or 8 GB RAM
Server Operating System Windows Server 2003 (It will even work on Windows Server 2008)
Client Core2Duo of more than or equal to 2.66 GHz with 2 GB RAM
Client Operating System Windows XP or Vista or Windows 7 or Windows 8

High-end Setup with Complex Requirement

You can contact us with all detailed information. We will review your requirements to measure the performance of your data server machine, network, and each workstation. By far, this is the best way to determine if any new equipment or upgrades to workstations are needed or not. Customers usually have a variety of workstations, ranging from older to newer setups. Many customers move their faster workstations to the high volume areas, such as reservation and front desk, and slower workstations are moved to areas requiring lesser use like Housekeeping or Accounting.
